Tempus Fugit

Hadn’t realized until this morning how long it had been since my last post. The Romans nailed it: Tempus Fugit — the contemporary idiom is “time flies when you’re having fun.” Over a year since the last post . . . seems like yesterday. Too much to catch up on a short synopsis, so in an understated understatement (*smile*), let’s just say it’s been a very interesting year of ups and downs, twists and turns, starts and stops, side trips and non-stop life journeys. I’ll put this on my weekly “to do” list . . . . Have a great week — or else . . . you won’t. . . .

"Life's what happens when you're busy making other plans." John Lennon. Life happenings have been almost overwhelming the past year, not all of them positive. Empty nest, boomerang kids, job changes, a new grandchild, and the usual Roseanne Roseannadanna homeowners' lament, "It's always something." It certainly provides one with anticipation for what each day will hold. As my grandfather used to reply when someone would say, "Good to see you, Claude," it's good to be seen, given the alternative. :-{) DB
